Priority – Details for the Route 

The safety of our passengers is our top priority. Therefore, the captain may adjust the route in response to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, we reserve the right to adjust the departure and arrival times by up to three hours to ensure a safe journey and to avoid bad weather or other force majeure events.

 

Strong North Wind  

In case of strong north wind, we move the boat to the southern part of Milos and avoid the northern part. The Meeting point and time remain the same except if you receive alternative details. We may need to use the tender rib for embarkation and disembarkation to the boat. For a possible map of the trip click here.

In case of strong south wind, we avoid the south part of Milos, Kimolos, and Poliegos. The Meeting point and time remain the same except if you receive alternative details. For custom trips, we can arrange an alternative meeting point if needed.

Please ensure that you arrive on time, as late arrivals may result in missing your trip.

 

Required info to book.

The booking process is similar to that of purchasing a flight ticket. To depart from the port, we are required to provide the port authority with the following information for each passenger:.

  • First Name:
  • Last name:
  • A unique number (ID, Passport, or driving license number):
  • Nationality:
  • Birth date:
  • Email:
  • Mobile phone including country code:
  • Hotel in Milos:

Shared trip:

You insert the above information into our online system manually.

 

Private trips:

Once your payment is completed, we will provide you with an ORDER NUMBER. You’ll need this number to enter the required information into our Google Sheet. – “Passenger List Form”: Details here.

The only way we accept your details is via the link. Due to GDPR, we do not accept copies of passports via email or other documents, we only accept the information through the “Passenger List Form”, you do not need to bring your documents onboard.

 

Additional equipment

Towel

For the shared trip, the extra cost is 20 euros per person. The use is strictly personal, and you are not allowed to share it with others. Our personnel holds the right to ask you to return the towel without refunding the 20 euros in case we notice inappropriate use. For private trips, we provide one towel per passenger.

We need the balance payment, of 50% latest 2 weeks before departure of the cruise.

Without the payment, we keep the right to cancel the reservation and hold the advance payment.

 

Payment fees

All of our prices exclude payment fees. Please be sure to add the applicable payment fee to your total for each transaction.

 

How to pay?

  • You can pay online through our webpage. (credit card extra fees are applied, 3.6%).
  • You can book at our office and pay cash or card. (Office location)
  • You can pay via bank transfer (only for agents).

 

Payment methods

For private trips, you do not make any payment before you confirm your order number and availability.

Please note that a payment fee must be added to each transaction. The payment amount is considered the net amount received in our account.

 

Special discounts (Only for private trips)

We can provide a special discount in case of full payment in advance for confirmations until February of every year.

Where to Book Your Cruise?

Please be aware that seats are limited, so we recommend making your reservation as early as possible.

For online bookings, please ensure your reservation is made at least 8 hours before departure.

 

Cancellation policy 

Basic Cancelation (Private and Shared trips)

  • We offer a full refund for cancelation 2 weeks before the departure date, after deducting the concierge fee.
  • The concierge fee is 5% of the reservation price, limited to 50 euros per booking.
  • For cancelation made within 2 weeks before the departure date, we offer a 0% refund.

Flexible cancelation (only for shared trips)

Extra cost 20 euros per passenger. You will have the opportunity to select that option online after you choose the date of your trip.

Flexible cancelation includes

  • For cancelation 72 hours before departure, we offer a full refund for the ticket amount. The flexible cancelation fee is not refundable.
  • Option of changing date during the same season up to four times
  • For cancelation made within 72 hours before departure time, we offer a 0% refund.

Cancelation or Change Date process.

In case of a cancelation or change of date, email us at the cancelation@odysseusacruises.com. The change of date is subject to availability.

You must include:

  • Name for every passenger
  • Order number
  • Initial Date of your trip

 

Conflict Resolution

If you are disappointed with our services and want to express that to us, you must do the following. You have to take action latest 48 after you finish your trip.

In case we do not receive a conflict request 48 hours after finishing your trip we are not obligated to reply or offer any compensation.

  1. Mandatory: Speak with the crew and inform them about the incident at the same moment that occurred.
  2. Mandatory: Send us an email, you have to include your booking or reservation number full name, and contact details together with a presentation of your problem.

Additional terms

  • No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited on board.
  • Responsibility: Guardians are responsible for minors, and each adult is responsible for themselves. Passengers are also responsible for their personal belongings and for informing us of any health issues or allergies.
  • Damages: If any passenger causes damage or loses equipment, charges will be applied.
  • Punctuality: Once you book your cruise, it is your responsibility to arrive on time at the meeting point (boarding begins 15 minutes before departure).
  • Departure & Arrival Times: We reserve the right to adjust departure and arrival times by up to 3 hours to avoid bad weather or unforeseen events.
  • Alternative Stops & Routes:
    • Poliegos: If weather conditions prevent us from stopping at Poliegos, we will offer an alternative stop without reducing the trip duration.
    • Strong Winds: In case of strong directional winds, an alternative route will be provided.
    • Low Participation: If participation is low, alternative options will be offered. If no alternative is available due to a force majeure event, a full refund will be provided.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust prices during the season, especially in the event of significant fuel cost increases. New prices will apply only to new bookings.
  • Sikia Cave: The area around Sikia Cave is accessible only in good weather. Due to the risk of falling rocks, we pass by the cave for photos but do not enter it.
  • Participation: For every shared trip we need a minimum of 6 guests.
  • Kleftiko Area: Our company adheres to local port authority regulations for the Kleftiko area. Swimming or docking within the designated red zone is prohibited. You can view the map here.
